Ready to switch up game day?!? I love football season so much!! What is not to love about relaxing all damn day on the couch and eating delicious food and let’s not forget about bloody Mary’s and bottomless mimosas!
Game day usually involves wings, nachos, chili, and all the other tasty comfort food which I love but sometimes I just want something different. This Mediterranean platter was just the solution and it is perfect for Monday Night Football because it also checks the box if you’re trying to do Meatless Monday. This is a fun and easy way to have dinner ready in a flash!
🔅 grape leaves (usually available from your favorite olive bar Wholefoods, Sprouts or from a can at Trader Joes )
🔅 sliced organic cucumbers with fresh mint
🔅 homemade hummus
🔅 mixed olives
🔅 falafel (I used Gude Eater from Whole Foods freezer section - just heat and serve and it is gluten free!)
🔅 roasted red pepper dip (diced roasted red peppers, splash of red wine vinegar, chopped almonds, and sea salt)
🔅 side of sourdough gluten-free bread by Bread Srsly
This would also make a great platter for really any event including girls night, wine night, dinner party, holiday party, and is easy to take on the go if you’re looking for a fun and fresh idea for your next covered dish.
