Cayenne Pepper. There are so many miracle products right in our kitchen - Oregano, Basil, Turmeric, Ginger, Cayenne Pepper, and Cinnamon, to name a few powerhouses. Cayenne Pepper is one of my favorite herbs that I work into my diet daily. It has shown to lower high blood pressure, improve circulation, boost metabolism, increase digestion, and increase energy to name a few.
I am always cold but after eating cayenne pepper my body starts to warm and I am fueled with natural energy. This is a great pre-workout or mid-day energy booster. It only takes a ¼ tsp. to feel the effects. I sprinkle cayenne pepper on hummus, cottage cheese, eggs, chicken, in veggie juice, anything I can once a day!
